Batang — Diponegoro University (Undip) Team II Regular Community Service (KKN) students continue to present innovative solutions in the community. One of these is the creation of a digital Posyandu dashboard in Klidang Lor Village, Batang. This program was initiated by Elsa Ika Rahmani, a Statistics student from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) Undip, aiming to create an educational medium for monitoring toddler growth and development at the village level.
Furthermore, the implementation of this innovation was carried out collaboratively with Posyandu cadres and the village midwife on Thursday (13/8). As a result, this system can later be used as a basis for health policy-making and evaluation.

Real-Time Visualization of Toddler Growth Data
Essentially, the official recording of toddler growth in Indonesia has been facilitated through an application owned by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes). Therefore, this Posyandu dashboard is not intended to replace the Kemenkes system. Instead, this innovation serves as an additional educational and visualization medium that simplifies local monitoring.
Important data such as Body Weight (BB), Height/Body Length (TB/PB), Upper Arm Circumference (LILA), and Head Circumference (LIKA) from the period of January 2025 to July 2026 are consolidated via Google Sheets. Then, the data is visualized in real-time on Looker Studio. The dashboard is even equipped with an attendance trend chart and an Individual Tracker panel.
Automation Features to Ease Posyandu Cadres’ Workload
This KKN program serves as a concrete example of applying statistical science directly in the field. The students did not only design the database but also implemented automatic conditional filtering. This feature functions to filter toddlers indicated to be experiencing weight loss into a specific monitoring list (Attention List).
Consequently, this feature successfully reduced the manual recapitulation burden on cadres, which is prone to recording errors. Furthermore, the village midwife can easily monitor the condition of toddlers across Posyandus quickly and transparently through benchmark metrics.

Village Midwife’s Appreciation for the Unique Toddler ID System
In addition to data visualization, the creation of a structured Unique Code System (Toddler ID) also received direct appreciation. For example, ID formats like MWR-001 or KNG-002 can be generated automatically by the system for every registered toddler.
“This ID recommendation is excellent. All this time, we often miswrite names. So, what should be toddler A, is written as toddler B’s name instead. Like the name Kezia, but written as Kesya,” said Titis, the Klidang Lor Village Midwife.
Moreover, she shared the administrative obstacles that often occur. “When I inputted it into the Kemenkes system, I couldn’t find it. It turned out to be a typo in the name. With an ID like this, every child’s record becomes clearer, does not get mixed up, and each toddler has a distinct identity.”
Knowledge Transfer for Program Sustainability
In the final stage of the program, system demonstration and knowledge transfer were carried out directly to the midwife and Posyandu cadres. Hopefully, this Posyandu dashboard system can be seamlessly applied in their routine workflow.
In conclusion, this Undip KKN program is not just a technical innovation on paper. Rather, it is an applicable solution whose benefits are genuinely felt firsthand by the village community.
