Innovation by Statistics Students and the UNDIP Community Service Team: Digitalization of Dlepih MSMEs

Digital Innovation by Statistics Students: KKN UNDIP UMKM Dlepih 2026

Dlepih, Wonogiri – Undip Statistics students, as part of the KKN UNDIP UMKM Dlepih 2026 initiative, presented a digital innovation through the Multidisciplinary Program 2. Specifically, the team first realized this innovation by developing an MSME catalog website in Dlepih Village, Tirtomoyo District, Wonogiri Regency. Essentially, the students implemented this program to support the promotion of local community business potential by utilizing digital technology.

Digital Platform for MSME Promotion

The team developed the Dlepih Village MSME website as an information and promotional tool. Through this platform, the students gather various community-owned micro-enterprises into one integrated digital space. The website contains detailed information about the Dlepih Village profile and a product catalog. As a result, community businesses are now more easily accessible to a wider audience.

Furthermore, the products on display are also very diverse. Business categories include culinary, crafts, agricultural products, and other types of businesses.

Data Collection Process by UNDIP KKN Students

During the development process, Undip Statistics students, along with other members of the community service team, first conducted direct data collection. They gathered crucial information on all MSMEs operating in Dlepih Village. Subsequently, they structured the collected data directly on the website. Therefore, this structured approach makes local product information much easier for potential consumers to find.

Moreover, the developers equipped this website with interactive communication features. Users can connect directly with businesses via WhatsApp. Additionally, the website even integrates MSME location information through Google Maps.

Expectations from the KKN UNDIP UMKM Dlepih 2026 Program

This Multidisciplinary Program 2 represents a concrete example of collaboration between students from various scientific fields. The goal is to utilize technology to support community economic empowerment. Consequently, the team expects this MSME digitalization to expand promotional reach and increase the visibility of Dlepih Village’s local economic potential in the digital realm.

Ultimately, the KKN UNDIP UMKM Dlepih 2026 team strives to create a sustainable promotional medium. This digital platform will provide long-term assistance to MSMEs. By doing so, the platform enables them to introduce their superior products to the wider community and boost the economic growth of Dlepih Village.
